Arthur H. Cook

Arthur H. Cook, 77, of Schenectady, N.Y., a native of Pittsfield, died Monday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born on Aug. 16, 1930, son of Arthur S. and Olive Gallager Cook, he attended Pittsfield High School. He served in the Air Force for four years, including 18 months in the Philippines and Japan. He was employed by the former Eaton Paper Corp. He and his wife, the former Maryann A. Riello, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary July 30. They were married at Mount Carmel Church. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Heidi Cooney of Latham, N.Y.; a son, Richard Cook of Delavan, Wis.; and four grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Arthur H. Cook, who died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, were held in Schenectady. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of ROSSI & DITORO FUNERAL HOME, Union at N. Jay Streets, Schenectady, N.Y. Arthur was a caring and devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed. He also leaves his grandchildren, Ryan and Jacob Cooney, and Gregory and Rachael Cook, and his favorite sister-in-law, Louisa Riello of Pittsfield.
