Marion Ellen Folino, 76, of 221 Mohawk Forest Blvd., died Monday at home. Born in North Adams on March 3, 1931, daughter of John Albert and Amie Sawyer Lowe, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School in 1948. Ms. Folino was last employed at the Willowood Nursing Home (now North Adams Commons) for 28 years, and retired in 1995. She was first employed at the former Mohawk Chief Supermarket and later worked for the former Sprague Electric Company. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She leaves a son, Michael A. Folino of Springfield, and a brother, John E. Lowe of Tucson, Ariz. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A celebration of the life of Marion Folino, who died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, with the Rev. Edward King, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, in care of the funeral home.
