Yvonne Kickery Haywood, 105

STOCKBRIDGE - Yvonne G. Kickery Haywood, 105, of Willard Hill Road, Interlaken, died Monday morning, Nov. 12, 2007 at Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Hericourt, France, on Oct. 15, 1902, daughter of Edmund and Marie Jeanne Dupuy, she immigrated to the United States at the age of 20 to join her father, who was residing in the Berkshires. Mrs. Haywood worked on the assembly line at General Electric in Pittsfield for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and dancing, especially square dancing. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her first husband, Joseph Kickery, died in 1954. Her husband, Stanley Haywood, whom she married in the mid-1970s, died in 1977. She is survived by four daughters, Louise Abderhalden of Urbana, Il., Yvonne Heath of Lee, Marie Opperman of Interlaken and Elsie Keeler of Norman, Okla., 28 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two other daughters, Anna Heath and Paulett Songer; two sons, Joseph Kickery and Wesley Kickery, and four grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE - Funeral services for the late Yvonne G. Haywood will be private.
