Phyllis Arlene LaRocque

Phyllis Arlene LaRocque, 63, of 1 Horn Place, died Sunday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on Dec. 6, 1944, daughter of Louis and Marion Griswold Perrier, she attended schools in Adams. Mrs. LaRocque was a homemaker her entire life. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and was a member of the Adams Turners. She leaves a son, Michael LaRocque of Cheshire; two daughters, Renee Bresett and Christine Scieszka, both of Adams; four sisters, Mary Lou Rodovick, Barbara Solomon and Carrie Brown, all of Adams and Linda Gwozdz of Cheshire; and eight grandchildren. Her twin daughters died June 6, 1968. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Phyllis LaRocque, who died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturdayat at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of the Word at noon in Notre Dame Church, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society through the funeral home. Mrs. La Rocque also leaves a daughter-in-law, Barbara; a son-in-law, Michael Bresett; four brothers-in-law, Ed, John, Ruchard and Andrew; eight grandchildren, Vanessa, Amanda, Meriah, Mitchell, Michael, Dylan, Hannah and Zachary; an aunt, Phyllis Griswold; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Arthur and James Perrier, and a sister, Shirley Comeau, are deceased.
