Elinor Mary Reardon

North Adams - Elinor Mary Reardon, 79, of 183 Phelps Ave. died yesterday at home. Born in North Adams on March 11, 1928, daughter of Lloyd F. and Isabel Huguenard Keating, she was a graduate of Drury High School. In her younger years, Mrs. Reardon was employed by New England Telephone Co. as a telephone operator. She was primarily a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church and a member of the Jollee Circle. She enjoyed knitting. Her husband, Charles H. Reardon, whom she married Sept. 6, 1947, died Feb. 10, 2002. She leaves three daughters, Karen Brodeur of Westport, Linda Gentes of North Adams and Cheryl Sadlowski of Adams; two brothers, Lloyd F. Keating Jr. of Yuma, Ariz., and Robert Keating of Enfield, Conn.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Elinor Keating Reardon, who died yesterday, Jan. 11, 2008, will be Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Francis' Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire or to the North Adams Ambulance Service in care of the funeral home. Survivors include sons-in-law Kenneth Gentes and Richard Brodeur; her daughter Cheryl's fiancé, Michael Vecellio; seven grandchildren, Sheri Goodell and her husband, Robert, of Clarksburg, Tami Boudreau and her husband, Thomas, of Adams, Nicole Brodeur of Middle River, Md., Michelle Sadlowski and Christopher Gentes and his fiancé, Amy Fender, of Pittsfield, Scott Sadlowski of Adams and Jeremy Brodeur of Westport; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Boudreau, Morgan and Madison Goodell, and Coby Boudreau; and nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
