Donna M. Agar, 55

NEW MARLBOROUGH — Donna Mae Agar, 55, of Clayton Mill River Road, Southfield, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at home. Born in Great Barrington on Feb. 26, 1953, daughter of Henry and Charlotte Eichstedt Marion, she attended local schools, including Mount Everett High School in Sheffield. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Agar was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family. She was also an artist and particularly enjoyed working with watercolors with her granddaughters. She was a master of down-home cooking. She and her husband, Walter Agar, would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on July 3. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Daskam Agar, at home; her sister, Sharon Candee of Tennessee; a brother, Thomas Marion of Lee; and her beloved grandchildren, Robert L. Ball Jr., and Amber, Finezia, Saskia, Cailyn and Connor Ball. Another son, Robert L. Ball, died on July 1, 2001. FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Donna Agar will be conducted Wednesday, March 26,at 11 from Finnerty and Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, by the Rev. Regina King, pastor of the Church of God in the village of Clayton. Memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire Community Action through funeral home, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
