Margaret S. Lueder, 96
GREAT BARRINGTON — Margaret S. "Susy" Lueder, 96, of Blue Hill Road died on June 18, 2008, at her home.
Born in Riesenbach, Germany, on June 6, 1912, daughter of Wilhelm and Margaret Haupman Eisner, she arrived in the United States by entering through Ellis Island in 1922.
Mrs. Lueder worked for the New York Telephone Co. for 38 years, retiring as an assistant chief operator in 1965.
She was an avid fan of courtroom television shows.
Her husband of 50 years, Hans Lueder, is deceased. She also was predeceased by her brothers William Eisner, Walter Eisner, and Henry Eisner.
She leaves her devoted sister-in-law, Mary Eisner; several nieces and nephews, and her primary caregivers with whom she had warm relationships, Susan Zamberletti, Laurie Groves, Alice Tortoriello, Jane Axt, Jessica Whalen, Tina Prator, and her neighbor and nurse Betty Jones.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Margaret "Susy" Lueder will be private with a burial service in Beechwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle, N.Y.
