Stanley P. Wodecki Jr., 57
GREAT BARRINGTON â€' Stanley P. Wodecki Jr., 57, of Great Barrington died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Berkshire medical Center in Pittsfield after a long illness.
Born in New Britain, Conn., on Aug. 10, 1950, son of Stanley P. Wodecki Sr. and Angeline Pignatella Wodecki, he attended schools there.
Mr. Wodecki had been a security guard at one time with Wackenhut Security Agency in Hartford, Conn., and New Britain.
He married the former Deborah Chapman in Hartford, Conn., in December 1972; the couple later divorced.
He leaves a son, Scott Wodecki and his wife, Joanne, of Monterey; a daughter, Dawn Barrett of Dalton; three grandchildren, Alexis, Krysta and Ian, and a niece and several nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A memorial service for Mr. Wodecki will be conducted Sunday, June 29, from West Stockbridge Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Shawn Bracebridge, pastor.
