Robert A. Burdick Jr., 64

NORTH ADAMS — Robert Albert Burdick Jr., 64 of 10 Comanche Drive, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Topeka, Kan., on June 3, 1944, son of Robert A. Burdick Sr. and Edna Jones Burdick, he attended schools in the town of Florida and graduated from Drury High School. He served in the Massachusetts National Guard. Mr. Burdick was last employed at Excelsior Process and Engraving Co. He was a member of the Florida Volunteer Fire Department and North Adams Ambulance Service. He leaves three daughters, Ann Stanley of Pownal, Vt., Terry Burdick of North Adams and Wendy Burdick Miller of Florida; a brother, David Burdick of Florida; a sister, Sharon Sherman of Colby, Kan.,; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister, Linda Trudeau, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Robert Burdick will be Monday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home For Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Florida Volunteer Fire Department in care of the funeral home.

Dear Dave and family so sorry to hear about Bob. He is with our LOrd now and not in any pain. I often saw him at Stewarts or wherever he always had a good attitude.
