James R. Baker, 67
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — James R. Baker, 67, of 342 West Road died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 15, 1941, son of Russell and Doris Kittler Baker, he attended school in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.
Mr. Baker was the founder of Ribco Supply Co. and expanded R.I. Baker Co. into a thriving business.
He was a member of the America Percheron Association.
He leaves two daughters, Amber Baker and Breck Baker, both of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Baker will take place Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. A reception to celebrate Mr. Baker's life will follow at the Greylock Club in North Adams.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Equus Therapeutic Riding Program through the funeral home.
