Laurie F. Mundy, 52
FLORIDA, Mass. — Laurie F. Mundy, 52, of 59 Stryker Road died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at her home.
Born in North Adams on Sept. 12, 1956, daughter of Francis and Constance H. Goodreau Scott, she attended schools in North Adams, including Charles H. McCann Technical School.
Mrs. Mundy was last employed by Berkshire Family and Individual Resources (BFAIR) in North Adams.
She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a member of Dr. George L. Curran VFW Post 996 Ladies' Auxiliary, both in North Adams. She enjoyed spending time at lakes and with family and friends.
She leaves her husband, Mark J. Mundy, whom she married Sept. 12, 1987, in North Adams; two stepsons, Jamie Mundy and his wife, Michelle, of North Adams and Jason Mundy and his wife, Angela, of Franklin, N.H.; a stepgrandson, Bradyn Mundy, and her aunt, Corrine H. Goodreau of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, are Friday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the Berkshire Humane Society through the funeral home.
