Virginia A. Bostwick, 71
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Virginia Anne Bostwick, 71, of 202 Houghton St. died Friday, May 15, 2009, at home.
Born in Clarksburg on Dec. 27, 1937, daughter of Raymond and Helena Bourelle Luczynski, she attended North Adams schools, including Drury High School.
Mrs. Bostwick was last employed by the Adult Day Care Center.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. She enjoyed puzzles, computers, and crocheting.
Her husband, Richard Bostwick, died in 1988.
She leaves two sons, Troy A. Bostwick of South Point, Ohio, and Richard W. Bostwick II of North Adams; three daughters, LoriBeth Hartlaub and Leslie Novak-Oliver, both of Browns Mill, N.J., and Virginia A. Steward of North Adams; seven sisters, Agnes Dickinson, Florence Bourdon, Shirley Lescarbeau, Rose Goddard, Helena Lescarbeau and Susan Jusino, all of North Adams, and Kathleen Suddeth of Chesapeake, Va.; three brothers, Raymond Luczynski of Chesapeake, Stanley Luczynski of Jacksonvill, Fla., and John Luczynski of Williamstown, nine Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Bostwick will be celebrated Wednesday May 21, at 11 from St. Elizabeth's Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
