Douglas A. Bouteiller, 50
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Douglas Alfred Bouteiller, 50, of Willard Street, Leominster, a former longtime resident of Great Barrington, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
Born in Great Barrington on Feb. 10, 1959, son of Betty Chamberlin Whitcomb and the late Alfred Bouteiller, he attended local schools and graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School in 1977. He moved to Shrewsbury in 2003.
Mr. Bouteiller worked as an assistant manager for NAPA Auto Parts in Shrewsbury. Prior to that, he was employed at Bunnell Auto Parts in Great Barrington for more than 20 years.
He was an avid bowler, having won many tournaments and bowled a perfect 300 several times. He also enjoyed golfing.
Besides his mother and her husband, Frank Whitcomb, of Ellenton, Fla., and his stepmother, Betty Bouteiller of Great Barrington, he leaves two sisters, Debra Guinan and her husband, Shaun, of Pittsfield and Dawn Taylor and her husband, Rick, of Gainesville, Fla.; two stepsisters, Diane Warner and her husband, William "Rosco" Warner, of Great Barrington and Dale Braun and her husband, Ralph, of Venice, Fla.,; two nieces, Nicole and Amanda, and two grandnieces.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The family of Mr. Bouteiller will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, from 4 to 7 at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
