Barbara Guertin Gardzina, 76
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Barbara Elizabeth Guertin Gardzina, 76, of 136 Veazie St. died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at North adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on May 27, 1933, daughter of Clarence and Hazel Benjamin Goddard, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Gardzina was employed at the former Hoosac Cotton Mills, the former C.B. Sports and, lastly, at Treet Cleaners.
She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Post 996 Ladies' Auxiliary and loved to crochet.
She and her husband, Francis P. Gardzina Sr.FUNERAL NOTICE â€' Funeral services for Mrs.Gardzina will take place Friday, Jan. 29, at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will take place in the springtime.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for Dr. George L. Curran VFW Post 996 Ladies' Auxiliary.
