Kurt T. Hurley, 66

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kurt Thomas "Tom" Hurley, 66, of 150 Ashland St. died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Sweet Brook Care Centers. Born in Brattleboro, Vt., on Feb. 22, 1944, son of William A. and Gladys Reid Hurley, he attended North Adams schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School in 1963. Mr. Hurley last employed at the Holiday Inn. He enjoyed landscaping and was previously employed at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown and with Griswold Construction. He was a member of the Frank R. Stiles Post 125 American Legion and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers. He leaves two daughters, Tammy Hurley and Tracy Hurley; a brother, William J. Hurley of Adams and a sister, Deborah Kleiner of Adams; his close friends, Ronald and Gail O’Brien of North Adams, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Hurley will be Monday, May 24, at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Riverview cemetery in Wilmington, Vt. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
