Margaret E. Sullivan, 75
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Margaret Ellen Sullivan, 75, of 90 Liberty St. died Thursday, June 3, 2010, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Chicopee on Feb. 3, 1935, a daughter of Patrick Michael and Mary Elizabeth Bowler Sullivan, she graduated from Chicopee High School and the University of Massachusetts. She was a resident of Maryland for many years.
Miss Sullivan was employed for 35 years with the Social Security office in Maryland.
She was a volunteer at North Adams Commons and North Adams Regional Hospital. She was a founding member of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference and a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church.
She leaves her brother, Patrick M. Sullivan Jr. and his wife, Lucille, of North Adams; two nephews, John Sullivan and James Sullivan; two stepnieces, Cheryl Downing and Lynn Palladino, and a stepnephew, Allen Lamson.
Another brother, James M. Sullivan, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Miss Sullivan will take place Tuesday, June 8, at 11 from St. Elizabeth's Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Elizabeth's through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
