Kenny J. Mitchell, 54
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kenny Joe Mitchell, 54, of 62 North St. died Monday, June 28, 2010, at home.
Born in Kennett, Mo., on Sept. 14, 1955, son of Wanda Walters Mitchell of North Adams and the late R.L. Mitchell, he graduated from Kennett High School.
Mr. Mitchell was last employed at Mitchell's Drug Store in Kennett. He also operated an online ministry called Uplifter Land. He liked the Boston Red Sox.
Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, the former Holley Collette, whom he married on Dec. 3, 2003; two sons, Joey Mitchell and Derek Mitchell, both of Kennett; four stepchildren, Travis DelRatez, Heath DelRatez, Lee DelRatez and Jessica Kemp, and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mr. Mitchell will be Thursday, July 1, at 2 in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, is in charge of arrangements.
