Jessica A. Brackett, 24
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jessica Ashley Brackett, 24, of North Adams died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2010, at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 6, 1985, a daughter of Wayne P. Brackett and of Joanne McDougall Brackett, both of North Adams, she was a high school graduate.
Ms. Brackett was employed as a certified nursing assistant, assisting the elderly in the area.
She was a devoted mother and loved scrap-booking.
Besides her parents and her stepmother, Marcia Brackett, she leaves a son, Talan Wilkinson of North Adams; two sisters, Caroline Brackett of North Adams and Catherine Brackett of Adams; a brother, Wayne P. Brackett Jr. of North Adams; maternal grandmother, Eleanor McDougall of Randolph; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, Jan. 8, at 9 from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
