Irene Dubreuil, 94
ADAMS, Mass. — Irene Dubreuil, 94, of 10300 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Adams, died on Monday, May 23, 2011, at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
Born in Adams on Sept.29, 1916, a daughter of Alfred and Marie Derouin Pelletier, her parents died when she was very young and she was adopted and raised by the Rowland family of Adams. She attended schools in Adams, including the former Notre Dame Elementary School.
Mrs. Dubreuil was primarily a homemaker, but had worked as a private housekeeper and at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates.
While in Adams she had been a communicant of the former Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas Aquinas, and was a member of its Ladies of St. Anne Society. She was an avid bingo player. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in St. Petersburg.
Her husband, Raymond Dubreuil, is deceased.
She leaves her son, Robert Dubreuil and his wife, Suzanne, of Adams; a daughter, Patricia Micek and her husband, John, of Boca Raton, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Annette Cote of Adams, Denise Dubreuil and Donald Dubreuil, both of North Adams, Yvonne Salsburg of Boca Raton, John Paul Micek of Elsegungo, Calif., Brian Dubreuil of Westfield and Jeffrey Dubreuil of Cheshire; 11 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother and eight sisters.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Dubreuil will be on Saturday, May 28, at 11:30 a.m. from Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at noon in Pope John Paul the Great Church, McKinley Square, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family in Bellevue Cemetery.
