Dorothy T. DePaoli, 82
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Dorothy Theresa DePaoli, 82, of 11 Burnham St. died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at North Adams Commons.
Born in North Adams on June 2, 1929, daughter of John and Hattie Blay Roy, she attended the former St. Joseph's High School.
Mrs. DePaoli worked at the former A&P Supermarket and, before that, at the former Sprague Electric, Gale Shoe and Clark Biscuit companies.
She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, bingo, and trips to the casino.
She and her husband, Frank D. DePaoli, were married on Oct. 22, 1949.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Frank D. DePaoli Jr. of North Adams; a brother, Norman Roy of North Adams, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her siblings Ida Benoni, Joan Harrington, June Brazeau, Mae Szetela and John Roy Jr. predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. DePaoli will be Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 10:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
