Vera Davine Libardoni, 86
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Vera Leah Davine Libardoni, 86, of 25 Myers Ave. died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at home.
Born in North Adams on Sept. 3, 1925, a daughter of William and Katherine Timothy, she attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.
Mrs. Libardoni was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co., retiring in 1986 with 43 years of service. She had first worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates in Adams.
She was a member of the Sprague Electric Quarter Century and Retirees clubs.
Her first husband, John H. Davine, whom she married on July 20, 1946, died Feb. 13, 1971.
She leaves her husband, Guido Libardoni, whom she married in 1972; three daughters, Linda Jean Kosche, Sally Lussier and her husband, Craig, and Kathy Carli and her husband, Fran; a son, Michael Timothy Davine and his wife, Christine; a stepdaughter, Linda Bartlett and her husband, John; her brother, William Timothy of California; seven grandchildren, Linda's daughter, Carrie, Sally's children Aimee and Michelle, Kathy's children Jason and Sarah Phelps, and Michael's children Jon and Shanna, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother John Timothy in 1994.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Libardoni will take place Monday, Dec. 5, at 1 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 11 to until the time of the service. Donations are suggested for Disabled American Veterans Association or Soldier On through the funeral home.
