Linda Manco, 64
ADAMS, Mass. — Linda Manco, 64, of Adams died early Saturday morning, Jan. 21, 2012, at home of natural causes.
Born in Troy, N.Y., on Jan. 16, 1948, daughter of William Deveneau and of Lillian Schnurr, she graduated from New Lebanon (N.Y.) High School in 1967.
Ms. Manco had worked for Berkshire County Arc and what was then Willowood Nursing Home. She also had operated a day-care center in San Diego, Calif., in 1979.
She enjoyed walking, volunteering for the Adams Agricultural Fair, tag-saling and spending time with friends and family.
She leaves a daughter, Melissa Meyer of Pittsfield; a son, Vincent J. Manco Jr. and his fiancée, Brooke Mitchell, of Essex Junction, Vt.; a sister, Patricia Wheeler of Adams; two nieces, Linda Cunagin and her fiance, Kevin Oswald, and her son, Calob, all of Adams, and Tonya Wheeler and her daughter, Savanah, both of Pittsfield; and two nephews, James Wheeler and his fiancée, Myia Gaulden, and their sons Tobias and Gavin, all of Pittsfield, and Hanley Palmer Jr. and his wife, Sue, of New Lebanon.
She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Deveneau; her brother-in-law, James Wheeler, and her nephew William Palmer.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours for Ms. Manco will be Saturday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 4 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
