Andrew F. Lampiasi, 75
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Andrew Francis Lampiasi, 75, of 20 Murray Ave. died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in North Adams on March 9, 1936, son of Frank and Rose Fanny Lampiasi, he attended North Adams schools.
He served in the Massachusetts National Guard for several years.
Mr. Lampiasi was employed by Scarafoni Realty for more than 20 years until his retirement. Before that, he worked at the former Scarafoni Ford.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. He was an active member of the North Adams Lions Club and enjoyed gardening.
He and his wife, the former Lynn Marie Lively, were married on July 15, 1976.
Besides his wife, he leaves five sons, Matthew Lampiasi of Florence, Chad Lampiasi of Adams, David Lampiasi and Alan Lampiasi, both of North Adams, and Andy Lampiasi of Clarksburg; a sister, Angeline Bradley of North Adams; a brother, Frank Lampiasi of North Adams, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Another son, Dennis Lampiasi, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Lampiasi will be Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 9:30 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
