Kevin J. McKeon, 50
ADAMS, Mass. — Kevin Joseph McKeon, 50, of 8 Godek St. died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 15, 2012, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Adams on Sept. 12, 1961, a son of Thomas F. and Dorothy Straczek McKeon, he attended Adams schools, and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in 1979.
Mr. McKeon worked as a boiler engineer for Crane & Co. in Dalton for the past 28 years.
He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, reading, crossword puzzles, and his Jeep.
He leaves his wife, the former Rosalie R. Briggs, whom he married on Aug. 5, 1984; a son, Christopher McKeon of North Adams; two daughters, Jennifer McKeon and Wendy McKeon, both of Adams; two brothers, Thomas R. McKeon of Adams and Shawn McKeon of Merrimack, N.H.; a sister, Robin Pleshaw of Feeding Hills; five grandchildren, Cyrus, Lilly and Blake Neep and Brooke and Taylor McKeon, and many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Calling hours for Mr. McKeon will be Monday, Feb. 20, from 2 to 5 at Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Relatives and friends are invited. Funeral services and burial will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
