Frances Sprague, 87

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Frances Sprague, 87, of 3 Spencer Road died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.
Born in North Adams on Aug. 25, 1924, a daughter of Linwood and Frances Lambert Morse, she attended schools in North Adams.
Mrs. Sprague was employed for many years at the former Sprague Electric Co., retiring as a foreman. She had also worked at the former Cornish Wire Co.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. She loved spending time with her family.
Her husband, Theodore "Ted" Sprague, whom she married Aug. 18, 1956, died Nov. 26, 2003.
She leaves three daughters, Michelle Noyes and her husband, Wesley, of North Adams, Sherry Sprague and her fiance, John Gretchner, of Adams and Mellisa Roy of Williamstown; two sisters, Marcia LeMay and Shirley Adams, both of North Adams; five grandchildren, Lawrence, Chad, Karisa, Chelsey and Kaitlin, and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers Clifford and George Morse.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mrs. Sprague will take place Friday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at the family plot in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the Sweet Brook Care Center Activities Fund through the funeral home.
