Judith Ann Davis, 56
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Judith Ann Davis, 56, of 243 State St. died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, following a long illness.
Born in North Adams on Aug. 25, 1955, daughter of Shirley A. David Davis of North Adams and the late Louis J. Davis, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1973.
Ms. David had worked as a home health aide. While in high school, she was a volunteer candy striper at North Adams Regional Hospital.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. She was a beloved niece and aunt.
Besides her mother, she leaves two sisters, her twin, Barbara Davis-Hassan, and her husband, Kenneth, of Lanesborough and Susan Davis Warren and her husband, Ian, of Jefferson; two brothers, Robert A. Davis and his wife, Pauline, of North Adams and James L. Davis of Elmira, N.Y.; her aunts and uncles, Alice Davis, Krimi Davis Kahwajy, and Raymond David; nieces and nephews, Angela, James, Melissa, Matthew, Michael, Mallory, Joseph, Daniel and Thomas; grandniece, Penelope, and cousins, Adele Kahwahy, Laraine Niles, Richard Davis, Donna Garner and James Davis.
She also leaves her longtime companion Rolland Harris and her close friend and caregiver Dana Zagata.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will take place Friday, March 23, at 9:30 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday evening, March 22, from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
