Barbara Ann LeSage, 78
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Barbara Ann LeSage, 78, of 92 Greylock Ave. died Monday, April 30, 2012, at her home.
Born in Clarksburg on Sept. 23, 1933, daughter of Leon L. LeSage Sr. and Helen Farley LeSage, she attended the former St. Joseph's Elementary School, and graduated from Drury High School in 1951 and Bliss Business College in 1952.
Miss LeSage was employed for 41 years with Massachusetts Electric Co., both in North Adams and Northampton, as secretary to the district manager, retiring Sept. 1, 1993.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. She was a member of the Jollee Circle Club and Clarksburg Seniors and also volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Bank drives and the gift shop at the former Our Lady of Mercy Shrine on Massachusetts Avenue.
She was the last of her immediate family.
FUNERAL NOTICE — At Miss LeSage's request, there will be no calling hours. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 4, at 11 a.m. from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot at Southview Cemetery.
In memory of her late brother, Leon T. LeSage Jr., donations may be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield in care of the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
