Delia Pittman Keyes, 94

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Delia L. Pittman Keyes, 94, of 200 Walker St. died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown Born in Worcester on Feb. 14, 1918, a daughter of Emile and Cherstie Gardell Duboise, she attended schools in Worcester. She moved to North Adams in September 1962. Mrs. Keyes was employed by the former Robert's Co. as manager of the Boys' Department from 1962 to 1985. She was first employed at the Children's Shop in Worcester and then for 12 years at Filene's, where she was a department manager. She was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church in North Adams. She was a member of the Professional Women's Club as well as a member of the board of trustees for the North Adams Salvation Army. She and her husband, Leonard Warren Keyes, were married on Oct. 8, 1938, at St. John's Church in Worcester. Besides her husband of 74 years, she leaves a son, Frederick Keyes and his wife, Barbara, of Williamstown; two grandchildren, Jodi Keyes Windover of Spencer and Jeffrey Scott Keyes of Braintree, and two great-grandchildren, Evan Prescott Windover and Nolan James Windover. She was the last of her immediate family. FUNERAL NOTICE— Funeral services for Mrs. Keyes will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Elder Services of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
