Gloria P. Marchegiani, 87
MONROE, Mass. — Gloria P. Marchegiani, 87, of 407 Countryside, Greenfield, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. She had been residing at The Arbors in Greenfield for the past nine months.
Born in Monroe on Oct. 21, 1925, daughter of Arthur and Rose Franceschetti Passardi, she attended schools in Monroe Bridge and graduated from Drury High School in North Adams.
Mrs. Marchegiani was employed at Deerfield Glassine in Monroe as an executive secretary for more than 40 years until her retirement.
She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenfield and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Her husband, Bruno C. Marchegiani, whom she married on June 12, 1948, died on Oct. 25, 2005.
She leaves her brother, Arthur Passardi and his wife, Rosemarie, of Readsboro, Vt.; a sister-in-law, Mae Passardi of Readsboro; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her siblings Garfield Passardi and Ellen Hubley predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Marchegiani will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal St., Greenfield. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery in Readsboro.
