Good things came in threes for this week's iBerkshires.com/Southwestern Vermont Health Care Athletes of the Week.

Junior tailback Louis Guilotte and the Drury High School football team scored three times on Saturday to win their third straight game to start the season.

After running for three touchdowns in Week 1 and nearly 300 yards in Week 2, Guilotte's Week 3 performance inlcuded 78 yards from scrimmage and a 70-yard punt return for a score.

"I know my guys got me," Guilotte said of a Drury offensive line that opened up holes for himself and Jayshawn Moore. "That's it. We've been working for this."

The Blue Devils are outscoring opponents by a combined margin of 74-12 this season.

Drury gets a little rest before its next outing, an Oct. 15 date at Pathfinder. The Blue Devils have an easy scouting opportunity on Saturday when those Pioneers visit McCann Tech.

Senior outside hitter Lizzy Brown and the Lee High volleyball team capped a 3-0 week with a three-set win at Mount Greylock on Friday night, cementing the Wildcats as, once again, the team to beat in Berkshire County.

Brown recorded 10 kills in a win over Wahconah to start the week, 19 kills in a victory over perennial Western Mass power Frontier on Wednesday and 13 kills on Friday as Lee improved to 9-1 this fall.

"They get the ball to their outsides, and their outsides have a lot of shots," Mount Greylock coach Greg Geyer said of Lee. "Lizzy Brown, we know really well because we play with her in club. She's an awesome player."
