Beauchamp Hat Trick Lifts Drury to First Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Myles Beauchamp recorded a hat trick, and the Drury boys soccer team scored four times in the second half Saturday to earn a 5-2 win over Springfield Commerce.
 
Beauchamp scored the game’s first goal with an assist from Matt Howland, but Commerce struck back with two goals before half-time to take a one-goal lead into the break.
 
In the 55th minute, Drury’s Ben Harrington scored his first varsity goal with an assist from Jorge Bond.
 
Bond then scored five minutes later on Howland’s second assist of the game to give Drury a 3-2 lead.
 
Beauchamp finished the scoring by converting a couple of penalty kicks.
 
Colin Daly earned the win in goal with six saves.
 
Drury (1-9-1) hosts Ware on Monday.
