Hoosac Valley Boys Survive Ejection, Blue Devils

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Blake Mazzeo and Evan Richardson each scored a goal Friday to give the Hoosac Valley boys soccer tema a 2-0 win over Drury.

 

After the Hurricanes were forced to play with 10 players when a member of the squad received his second yellow card in the first half, Mazzeo opened the second half by converting a through ball from Dylan Rohlfs.

 

Richardson capped the scoring by scoring on a penalty kick.

 

Hoosac Valley (7-1-2) goes to Franklin Tech on Tuesday.

 

Drury (1-7-2) goes to Mount Anthony in Bennington, Vt., on Monday.
