LaForest's Hat Trick Lifts McCann Tech Boys on Road

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Nicholas LaForest had a hat trick Thursday to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 6-1 win over Pioneer Valley Christian Academy.

 

Ivan Liang set up three goals, and Justin Chen had a goal and an assist for the Hornets.

 

Connnor Griswold and Matt BAiley had the other McCann Tech goals, and Michael Harris made nine saves to earn the win in goal.

 

"I was very happy with how we passed the ball and moved side to side, and it showed with us getting assists on five of our six goals," McCann Tech coach John Bresett said.

 

The Hornets (11-5-1) take a four-game winning streak into Tuesday's regular season finale at home against Hopkins.
