Taconic Shuts Out Mount Everett

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Frederick Yankey and Lucas Parise each scored a goal Wednesday to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 2-0 win over Mount Everett.

 

Yankey converted an assist from Mateo Morales. Then Joshua Alvarez set up Parise, who finished to give the Thunder a two-goal half-time lead.

 

“Jonathan Parsons had the shutout in goal, and Steven Orellana played unbelievable defense,” Taconic coach Jason Keller said.

 

Taconic (4-5) hosts Mount Greylock at BCC on Monday evening.
