SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Dan Litchfield had a goal and an assist to lead the Mount Everett boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Drury on Friday afternoon.

Litchfield started the scoring with a goal on an assist from Ryan Meyer in the 12th minute.

After an own goal went against the Blue Devils to make it 2-0, Graham Collopy extended the lead for Mount Everett (5-0) with assists from Nick Tomich and Litchfield.

Ryan Meyer made nine saves in the Mount Everett net to earn the win.

"Drury had constant pressure through out by testing the defense today, but the defense was ready," Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. "Our strikers and midfielders are consistently putting pressure on the opposing teams and the result is we are getting some good balls from the outside wings."

For Drury, Jon Boland scored midway through the second half, and Brian Christian made 15 saves.

The Blue Devils (0-3-1) play Taconic on Saturday.

Mount Everett travels to face Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.
