Monument Mountain Boys Shut Out Mount Everett

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Jackson Blanchard scored in the seventh minute for the only goal the Monument Mountain boys soccer team needed Wednesday in a 2-0 win over Mount Everett.
 
Justin Hawkins set up Blanchard on the game-winner.
 
Kade Groeber added some insurance in the first minute of the second half with an assist from Avery Manzolini.
 
Max Kohlkins made three saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Michael Devoti stopped eight shots for Mount Everett (3-2-2), which hosts Gateway on Friday.
 
The Spartans (4-4-1) are at Hopkins Academy on Friday.
