O'Donnell Game-Winner Lifts Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Gavin O’Donnell scored in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and send the Taconic boys soccer team on to a 2-1 win over Westfield Tech on Friday.

 

Eric Quaidoo opened the scoring at the end of the first half.

 

Westfield Tech responded shortly after the break, but Zachary Sullivan set up O’Donnell for the game-winner.

 

Taconic (11-4-2) learns Wednesday who it will play in the first round of next week’s state tournament.
