PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Taconic boys soccer team Thursday scored two goals from distance to earn a 2-0 win over Lenox.
 
Joshua Alvarez got the game-winner directly off a corner kick, bending the ball into the goal.
 
Mateo Morales then forced an own goal with a shot from 30 yards out.
 
John Parsons earned the shutout win in goal for the Thunder.
 
Taconic (1-3) hosts Drury on Monday.
 
Lenox (1-2-1) is home against Libertas Charter on Monday.
