Taconic Boys Fall at Hampshire

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Hampshire Regional boys soccer team Thursday pulled away with two goals in the second half to take a 3-0 win over Taconic on Thursday.

 

“The score did not tell the tale,” Thunder coach Jason Keller said. “Taconic was controlling much of the first half hitting a cross bar and coming close on other chances. Then Hampshire scored on a through ball past our defenders and voila, 1 to 0 at halftime.

 

“Second half, Taconic’s bench was filled with six injured players and we had no subs. Slowly our strong play faded away and we gave up two more goals.”

 

The Thunder (3-1-1) is home against Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
