Mounties Earn Senor Night Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Kieran Johnson scored three goals Friday to lead the Mount Greylock boys soccer team to a 5-2 win over Taconic on the Mounties’ Senior Night.

Ian Haig and Everett Bayliss each scored a goal in the win.

The Mounties took a 2-0 lead at half-time and led, 3-0, before Gabriel Candilore scored to get Taconic on the board.

After Taconic got its fourth goal, David Gonzalez scored for the Thunder to get them back within a pair. But Mount Greylock closed the door and added another insurance goal late.

The Mounties (7-3-4) go to Lenox on Wednesday to end the regular season.

Taconic (5-5-2) plays Pittsfield on Saturday night at Berkshire Community College.
