SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Nick Donahue scored twice, and Cody Latimer made 11 saves Wednesday to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 3-3 tie at Commerce.

The hosts got on the board first with a goal in the 12th minute and extended their lead with a goal early in the second.

But Kyle Stasiewski set up Donahue to get Taconic on the board in the 55th minute, and Jason Peprah scored an unassisted goal on a corner kick midway through the second half.

Taconic took a brief lead on Donahue’s second goal, assisted by Ryan Abel.

But Commerce converted a corner kick of its own three minutes later to force the stalemate.

Taconic (2-6-1) goes to Drury on Oct. 5.
