As the weather cools and the area’s soccer teams hit the post-season, few teams are hotter than the ones led by this week’s iBerkshires.com Athletes of the Week.

Lenox’s Aliza Munch scored five goals this week to lead the Millionaires to wins over Chicopee and Hoosac Valley. It took one of the stingiest defenses around to hold her in check when Mount Gryelock managed a shutout win to end Lenox’s week and season.

But that season has seen Lenox post a 6-7-2 record despite a 1-6-1 start.

Lenox is 5-2-1 in its last eight games heading into this week’s Western Massachusetts Class D tournament.

Munch is the leading scorer for a Lenox team that has 15 goals in its last six games.

Dylan Rohlfs is the leading scorer for the Hoosac Valley boys, finding the back of the net 19 times this fall for a squad that heads to the post-season with a 9-5-2 record.

The Hurricanes are 3-1-1 in their last five after a 2-1 week that included eight goals in two days in wins over Bi-County League foes Pioneer Valley Christian and Putnam Voc.

Rohlfs scored all four goals in the win over Putnam, helping Hoosac Valley lock down a likely home game in this week’s Western Massachusetts Class D tourney when the brackets are announced on Monday.
