Mounties Reach Title Game of Mount Anthony Tournament
BENNINGTON, Vt. – The Mount Greylock boys soccer team broke open a scoreless game with three straight goals in the second half and went on to a 3-1 win over Brattleboro in the Mount Anthony Tournament on Thursday night.
Kofi Roberts scored an unassisted goal four minutes after half-time to put the Mounties on top.
Asher Barrall converted an Everett Bayliss assist three minutes later to make it 2-0.
Reed Miles-Harris gave his team a 3-0 lead when he converted an assist from Keaton Repetto midway through the half.
The Colonels ruined a shutout bid for Ward Bianchi (four saves) with a goal with six minutes left.
Mount Greylock (3-0) returns to Mount Anthony on Saturday evening to face Burr and Burton in the tournament finale. The Bulldogs Thursday pounded the host Patriots, 8-0.
