Bayliss Leads Mounties into Western Mass Final

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Everett Bayliss had a hat trick Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock boys soccer team to a 5-0 win over Springfield International Charter School in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.

 

Bayliss delivered all the offense the Mounties needed in the first minute off an assist from Kofi Roberts.

 

Bayliss went on to add two more goals in the first half as Mount Greylock took a 4-0 lead into half-time.

 

Everett Crowe and Reed Miles-Harris each scored a goal, and Ward Bianchi made five saves to earn the shutout in goal.

 

Top-seeded Mount Greylock (10-6-1) plays No. 3 Smith Vocational in the regional final on a date and at a location to be announced.
