Mount Greylock Knocks Off MAU in Patriots Tournament

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Ian Haig scored a pair of goals, and Keaton Repetto had a pair of assists Thursday as the Mount Greylock boys soccer team defeated Mount Anthony Union, 5-0, in the first round of the Patriots Tournament.

 

Everett Bayliss scored with an assist from Owen KoaMaya to give the Mounties all the offense they needed.

 

Kieran Johnson, KoaMaya and Haig added first-period goals to send Mount Greylock into the break up, 4-0.

 

Haig finished the scoring with an unassisted goal in the second half.

 

Ward Bianchi made three saves to earn the shutout win in goal.

 

Mount Greylock (1-0-1) advances to Saturday evening’s tournament final against Burr and Burton Academy.
