Mount Greylock Boys Win, Qualify for Tourney

MANCHESTER, Vt. - Sam Dils had a natural hat trick to lead the Mount Greylock boys soccer team to a 6-1 win over Burr & Burton Academy on Saturday night. 
 
With the win, the Mounties, 8-1, qualified for the Western Massachusetts tournament. 
 
Dils scored an unassisted goal in the first minute, then added goals with assists from Aaron Kleiner and Quinn Johnstadt to give the Mounties a 3-0 lead. 
 
The Bulldogs scored on a penalty kick late in the first half. 
Mount Greylock added scores from Brady Foehl and Tom Astle after half-time. 
 
Cal Filson made three saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Mount Greylock hosts West Springfield on Tuesday.
