Mount Greylock Boys Top Wahconah

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys soccer team defeated Wahconah Thursday evening, 3-0, at John T. Allen Field.
 
The Mounties took a 1-0 lead going into half-time with a goal scored by Tom Astle that came late in the first half. Astle's goal was the spark that Greylock was looking for.
 
The Mounties added two more in the second from Quinn Johnstadt and Naka O'Connor. Sam Dils had an assist.
 
In net for Greylock, Cal Filson had three saves, including a point-blank stop in the second half to preserve the shutout.
 
Wahconah goalie Braden Chevillet had four saves.
 
Mount Greylock (10-1) travels to Longmeadow Monday afternoon and Wahconah (1-8-1) travels to Drury.
