Mount Greylock Boys Tie West Springfield on Road

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- West Springfield's boys soccer team tied Mount Greylock in the 28th minute and hung on for a 1-1 tie on Saturday evening.
 
The Mounties (1-0-1) jumped on top midway through the first half when J. Bath fed Naka O'Connor.
 
But West Springfield's Tyler Alstede scored 10 minutes later to tie it.
 
David Falk made six saves in the Mount Greylock goal.
 
The Mounties are home on Tuesday afternoon against Pittsfield.
 
This game was later forfeited.
