Pope Francis Boys Blank Mount Greylock

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Dan Sears scored on a set piece in the third minute to provide the only offense in Pope Francis’ 1-0 win over Mount Greylock in Thursday’s season opener for the Mounties.

 

Eamon Hetherington stopped nine shots for Mount Greylock, which was outshot by a margin of 10-3.

 

Mount Greylock (0-1) hosts Frontier on Saturday.
