Monument Mountain Boys Come Back To Tie Pittsfield

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Lucien Firth scored the only goal of the second half to give the Monument Mountain boys soccer team a 3-3 tie against Pittsfield on Friday evening.
 
Avery Manzolini and Benj Ryel each scored a goal for the Spartans, who overcame a 3-1 deficit in the first half to improve to 7-7-2.
 
Max Kohlkins made four saves in the Monument Mountain goal.
 
Luke Peplowski had a goal and an assist, and Cole Masiero scored for Pittsfield.
 
Avi Snowise made four stops for the Generals (7-7-3), who go to Shepherd Hill on Tuesday.
 
Monument Mountain goes to Belchertown on Tuesday.
